Welcome to the blog for CapawbleHands.org. We are Bekki & Phil and we have about 40 years of dog raising & training experience between us. This blog is meant to help us better share information on responsible dog ownership and training techniques with the world, and to involve others in really wanting to be better owners.
Currently we have 2 dogs we affectionately refer to as 'The Lads.' and yes this is a direct ripoff from Magnum PI. They are Hondo and Jethro, and you can see a little about them on their pages. The Lads are being trained to first pass their AKC Good Citizen test, and then on to pass their Therapy Dog Certification.
No, we are NOT experts, but we do not have degrees or certifications or any other reason why you should listen to us. In fact the very point of this blog is to engage others in discussion, not to tell or preach (although when Phil gets on a roll . . . )
